Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

The App does not require you to create an account. You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the App. If you use the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.

2. Service Description

The App lets you submit text-based requests to plan trips, suggest destinations, itineraries, or budgets with the help of AI. There is no separate backend storing your data; requests are sent from your device to OpenAI's services for processing, and responses are returned to you. Travel suggestions may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate; always confirm with official or authoritative sources before booking.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful purposes.
• Not attempt to circumvent security controls or interfere with the App's operation.
• Not input content that is illegal, violates others' rights, or is inappropriate for AI processing.
• Follow OpenAI usage and safety policies; do not attempt to bypass model safeguards.

4. AI Outputs and Accuracy

AI-generated travel suggestions may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. You are responsible for verifying outputs before relying on them. The App is for general informational purposes only and must not be used as the sole basis for booking, safety, visa, or travel decisions. Do not enter sensitive personal, medical, financial, or confidential information.

5. OpenAI Processing

Your prompts and outputs are sent to OpenAI to generate results. OpenAI may retain data for a limited period for abuse monitoring according to its policies. The App is powered by OpenAI models but is not an official OpenAI product.

6. Availability and Changes

We may update, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time. We may also update these Terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

7. Disclaimer and Liability

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties and are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our aggregate liability for any claim related to the App is limited to the greater of USD $0 (the App is free) or the amount you paid us for the App in the prior three months.

8. Privacy

Our handling of data for the App is described in the Trip ChatGPT Privacy Policy. By using the App, you also agree to that policy.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
