The App runs without a dedicated backend that stores your data. When you enter a chess prompt or request, it is sent from your device to OpenAI for processing and the response is returned to you. We do not create user profiles or use your inputs for advertising.

2. Information We Process

• Inputs and prompts: Chess queries or text you enter are transmitted to OpenAI to generate an answer. They are not stored by us after the response is returned to your session.
• Technical and security logs: Our hosting provider may record standard device and connection data (such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps) for reliability and abuse prevention. We do not use this information for marketing.

The App does not use analytics, ads, or tracking cookies for this experience. Do not input sensitive personal, medical, financial, or confidential information.

3. How Information Is Used

• To generate the chess-related response you requested.
• To maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the App.

4. Sharing and Third Parties

Your prompts and related data are shared with OpenAI to provide the App's functionality and are handled under OpenAI's terms and policies. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers. We act as the app provider; OpenAI processes data on our behalf to generate responses.

5. Retention

We do not store your prompts or outputs on our servers. Temporary state may remain in your browser session until you close the tab or clear your cache. Hosting logs are retained and rotated according to our provider's standard schedules (typically up to 30 days) for security and reliability. OpenAI's retention practices are governed by their policies.

6. Security

The App is served over HTTPS to protect data in transit. Because the App relies on third-party processing, avoid entering sensitive personal, financial, medical, or confidential information.

7. Your Choices

• You can stop using the App at any time; closing the session clears the active context.
• If you have questions about any logs that may reference your use, contact us and we will help where possible.
• Do not use the App if you are under 16 or if your local laws prohibit this type of service.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. We will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after an update means you agree to the revised policy.
