Terms of Service

1. Eligibility and Account

The App does not require you to create an account. You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the App. If you use the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.

2. Service Description

The App lets you enter text-based instructions to perform quick calculations with the help of AI. There is no separate backend for the App; requests are sent from your device to OpenAI's services for processing. Outputs are provided for convenience and should be double-checked for accuracy.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these rules:

• Do not use the App for any unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive activity.
• Do not attempt to circumvent security controls, interfere with the App's operation, or probe its infrastructure.
• Do not input content that is illegal, violates others' rights, or is inappropriate for AI processing.
• Do not use outputs as the sole basis for decisions involving finances, health, safety, or legal matters.
• Do not attempt to bypass or misuse OpenAI safety systems; follow OpenAI usage policies.

4. AI Outputs and Accuracy

AI-generated results may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying outputs before relying on them. The App is provided for general informational purposes only and must not be used for health, safety-critical, financial, or legal decisions. Do not enter sensitive personal, medical, financial, or confidential information.

5. OpenAI Processing

Your prompts and outputs are sent to OpenAI to generate results. OpenAI may retain data for a limited period for abuse monitoring according to its policies. The App is powered by OpenAI models but is not an official OpenAI product.

6. Availability and Changes

We may update, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time. We may also update these Terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

7. Disclaimer and Liability

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties and are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our aggregate liability for any claim related to the App is limited to the greater of USD $0 (the App is free) or the amount you paid us for the App in the prior three months.

8. Privacy

Our handling of data for the App is described in the Calculator ChatGPT Privacy Policy. By using the App, you also agree to that policy.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
